Living in Northumberland

Popularity of moving to the Northumberland County has increased after the market town of Alnwick won Country Life magazine's 'Best Place to live in the UK' award in 2002 whilst Hexham won Country Life's 'England's favourite Market Town' award in 2005. We have also got a number of primary and secondary schools rated as good and outstanding by Ofsted in the district.
